Waiting on Wednesday [9]

Hi! And welcome to Chantelle's post for Waiting on Wednesday, where I'll be spotlighting my most anticipated releases over the next month! So without further delay,

This month, I am going completely crazy waiting for...

Left Drowning
Jessica Park
Release date: July 16th 2013

Weighted down by the loss of her parents, Blythe McGuire struggles to keep her head above water as she trudges through her last year at Matthews College. Then a chance meeting sends Blythe crashing into something she doesn’t expect—an undeniable attraction to a dark-haired senior named Chris Shepherd, whose past may be even more complicated than her own. As their relationship deepens, Chris pulls Blythe out of the stupor she’s been in since the night a fire took half her family. She begins to heal, and even, haltingly, to love this guy who helps her find new paths to pleasure and self-discovery. But as Blythe moves into calmer waters, she realizes Chris is the one still strangled by his family’s traumatic history. As dark currents threaten to pull him under, Blythe may be the only person who can keep him from drowning.

I am a HUGE fan of Jessica Park since reading Flat-Out Love, she has such a knack for quirky humour, and her love of geeky heroines had me hooked. Being a facebook and twitter follower, Jessica Park teases me relentlessly with teasers from amazing five star reviews (pfft, like I need other people telling me that her books are amazing), so I really can't wait to get my hands on this one!

What are you going crazy waiting for?

  1. I haven't heard of this one. I'll have to check it out. I'm looking forward to The Bitter Kingdom and Crown of Midnight.
