Review by Nara

For my friend Stephen!

Medical Interviews was an odd novel that didn't seem to have much of a plot. Generally I was told a story should have a beginning, middle and ending, but this book seemed to meander around and have no general direction for the plotline of the story. It was broken up into chapters, but each chapter seemed to start with a question, most of which didn't really link up into the overall story. Reading through this novel, there was a lack of character development, in fact there was a complete lack of characters at all. I was also a bit confused about the setting of the novel, and it was hard to visualise what was going on in each scene.

Despite there being no plot, world building or characters, I enjoyed reading this book overall. It certainly helped me with my interview preparation; thanks for lending it to me Stephen!

Really liked it
