So what is this SEARCH FOR THE PANACEA, you say? Well basically, it's our own version of a book haul. What makes this different from a Stacking the Shelves post, you say? IT'S A FLIPPING VLOG. And this is the first one. So yeah, sorry for the crappy editing- the jump cuts are really abrupt. And I'm lazy, so I didn't want to invest the time to make them less abrupt, because I'm an editing noob and it took me long enough as it is to edit the video. Also, I say "um" WAY too many times. Anyway, without further ado, here is our first vlog, mostly featuring me (Nara).
Books mentioned:
Love in Revolution
Crown of Midnight
Winter Damage
Unbreakable
Dangerous Girls
The Accident
Zac and Mia
Skulk
Earth Star
The Selection
The Distance Between Us
The Cinderella Moment
Something Strange and Deadly
Shadow and Bone
Storm
Sweet Damage
Shatter Me
Reboot
The Diviners
The Maze Runner
All Our Yesterdays
YAY! First vlog was a success I think :) great job nara!
ReplyDeletelol and good job with sitting behind the camera and making fun of me :P
DeleteAwesome vlog, girlies! I got Sweet Damage for review from A&U just recently- she writes creepy books. And Shatter Me is amazing <333
ReplyDeleteHappy reading! <33
The cover of Sweet Damage is so creepy...
DeleteAnd ERMAHGERD yes! Shatter Me is epic :D
Aww you girls are just too cute! :D Nice haul Nara - you scored some awesome reads. Definitely check out The Diviners, I know it's a huge read, but it's epic!! I loved it.
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely have to read it soon! I feel like I should at least read it before the sequel comes out :P
DeleteThanks Melissa :)
Yay, vlog! I hope you continue to make videos, I definitely enjoyed this one! Awesome, awesome books, ladies. I hear the Throne of Glass books are to die for.
ReplyDeletehaha we'll probably be doing vlog book hauls, because they're just fun to do. Don't know if we'll start doing other vlogs, we'll see :D
DeleteYES THE THRONE OF GLASS BOOKS ARE AMAZINGLY AMAZING!
Hahahah. Your laughter is contagious, Nara. :D And this is a great vid. And you asking Chantelle about some of the pronunciation of names amused me. I am like that too. And why is Chantelle hiding?
ReplyDeleteWhere are the Horcruxes, girls?
Awesome haul. Some of the books you've shared are already on my TBR list. <3
I probably laugh too much hahaha. Yeah, pronouncing names is hard :(
DeleteChantelle said it would be awkward if she was in the shot, so she was like "I'm in charge of the camera" and just sat there while I awkwardly talked :P
We actually only have two Horcruxes, ever, and one of them is only available as an ebook and the other one I wouldn't even take if it was free, so, yeah. :)
I love your accent guys! It's so adorable! :D<3
ReplyDeleteAnd it's actually Gah-cia. ;D
I don't know how to say Kasie though.
And I love seeing the different book covers you Australians have! Most of the time, they're even better than the US ones. ESPECIALLY the spine of Reboot.
You two are just so adorable! :D<3
Ah, so Chantelle was right with the Gah-cia.
DeleteI feel like I should know how to say Kasie's name because I love her books. I feel guilty lol.
The Reboot spine is awesome, but I actually prefer the US cover- love the red and black colour scheme!
Why thank you Kelly :D
GAH I LOVE YOUR ACCENTS! Idk why but I love the lull of the Australian accent haha.
ReplyDeleteHaha 'dang American names' xD SHADOW AND BONE SHADOW AND BONE.
The Aussie accent is just a lazy accent haha. Move your mouth as little as possible and BAM there's your accent :P
DeleteI love Shadow and Bone :D And Siege and Storm was even better! Sturmhond <3 Can't wait for Ruin and Rising!
FACEPALM! LOL you guys are too cute. You have such a freaking amazing haul!! You won some pretty amazing books, I'll be looking out for those giveaways lol. Anyway, hope you enjoy!
ReplyDeleteJeann @ Happy Indulgence
We'll probably give them away during our blogoversary. We'll see, because we are but poor uni students that may not be able to afford shipping haha. Although I guess it wouldn't be too bad if we did some Aus only giveaways :)
