Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme where book bloggers come up with their Top Ten list for a particular book topic. Here at Looking at the Panacea, Chantelle and Nara each pick their top five to give a combined list of ten. This week's topic is:
Top Ten Characters I Would Crush On If I Were Also A Fictional Character
NARA
1. Jase Garrett from My Life Next Door
I really love Jase. He's just so nice and so supportive :') How could you not have a crush on him?
2. Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices
Can anyone really resist the dark blue eyes of Will Herondale? He's such a tragic hero, especially with his "curse".
3. Jem Carstairs from The Infernal Devices
Okay, I hear you say Will AND Jem?! Why can't I crush on both! Tessa did! I liked Jem in Clockwork Prince, but he really shone in Clockwork Princess. He seriously has to be the nicest person in the universe.
4. Adrian Ivashkov from Bloodlines
I'm not quite sure why, but I really liked Adrian from Vampire Academy. Now that I think back on it, he wasn't a particularly good character in that series, with his many, many vices. But Adrian in Bloodlines is absolutely amazing! He definitely develops as a character throughout the series, and I cannot wait for his POV in The Fiery Heart!
5. Akiva from Daughter of Smoke and Bone
An angel with eyes that burn with flames? Hell yeah. (Review)
CHANTELLE
1. Matt Watkins from Flat-Out Love
He's such a geek!!! AAAHH He wears t-shirts that say things like, Nietzsche is my homeboy, and let's be real, he had me at Nietzsche. (Review)
2. Étienne St. Clair from Anna and the French Kiss
Speaks fluent French, is from America, but has an English accent and a nice, funny, genuine personality. Basically every girl's dream crush. Am I right?
3. Josh Bennet from The Sea of Tranquility
He's the guy who will always be there for you, quiet and gorgeous. Swoon city! He will make you wish that you were "a seventeenth-century, hand-carved table in mint condition"....
4. Alexander Belov from The Bronze Horseman
Oh Shura, he is the ultimate package. A strong, tall, bronze-skinned, dark haired, confident, well-spoken man who is incredibly dedicated and passionate. He was the reason I judged guys so harshly for a long time.
5. Zadist from Lover Awakened
No crush-list is complete without the honourary bad boy, and that is definitely Zadist. Tortured, tough, and incredibly protective... sign me up!

I still have to read many of the books above including flat out love & the sea of tranquility :)

Deletehey now Nara, take a few steps back, unless Jase... <3
DeleteI love how you loved Jem & Will. I feel the same. I'm so bad when it comes to my book boys. I can't keep my emotions in check, lol

Beth | The Reading Vixens
Vixen's Top Ten!
Love both of them, but liked Will slightly better, hence him being Number 2 and Jem at Number 3 haha.
DeleteI'm not familiar with your list, but I am getting ready to Anna and the French Kiss and My Life Next Door. I'm sure all those listed are drool worthy.
ReplyDeleteJessica @ Literary, etc
Hope you get around to reading them soon, they really are great reads! Hope you enjoy them too :)
DeleteAh It's all Will for me! Jem is great and all but He fell downhill for me! Where as Will shines bright in my eyes! Just thinking about him makes me swoon!
ReplyDeleteMy Top Ten!
I like your list. So full of great guys. Jase, Will, Jem, Adrian, Etienne....all of them earn major swoon points.
